Welsh language requirements:
Desirable Level 4 – Essential Level 1 – The successful applicant will be required to develop their language skill to the required level following an agreed training plan with NRW support if required.

Role Purpose
The role of Team Member 2, Facilities South sits within a discreet team of other professionals responsible for the management of facilities at key offices, depots and visitors centres within a designated hub in South Wales. There is a strong focus within the team on providing excellent customer service to both internal staff and visitors to our buildings. A significant part of your role would see you provide a front of house service to these customers alongside the management of maintenance and operations onsite.

Qualifications and Skills

Whilst these are preferential qualifications and skills there is a commitment to training and developing staff to achieve the following;

  • Level 3 qualification in Facilities Management or similar
  • Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety management relating to the Health and Safety at work act.
  • Experience of delivering both hard and soft Facilities services within a built environment to include:
  • Good understanding of using a Finance system and other software / applications to meet the requirements of your area of responsibility.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate confidently, with excellent customer service skills
  • Good inter-personal skills with the ability to work under pressure using your own. initiative in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • Good IT and accurate data entry skills.
  • Experience of managing small scale building repair and maintenance works as well as managing contractors.
