Job Title: Graphic Designer.
Based: Commutable from locations across South Wales - Swansea, Llanelli, Carmarthen, Neath, Port Talbot, Bridgend, Vale of Glamorgan, Caerphilly and Cardiff.
Salary: c.£18-26,000 per annum, negotiable dependent upon experience and portfolio.
Start Date: February/March 2012.
We are currently working alongside a successful and growing organisation in their search for an experienced and motivated Graphic Designer to join their team here in South Wales. Working within a dynamic and challenging work environment with a large number of cutting-edge projects, this successful company can provide both a stable working environment alongside a great variety of work and projects. The successful applicant will be tasked with creating eye-catching digital material to further enhance and improve their products and projects across their chosen markets.
Within this position, we anticipate that you will be tasked with the following activities:
*producing and delivering eye-catching graphic material throughout the project lifecycle.
*creating high quality materials in various formats.
*management and enhancement of website content.
*management and development of content for various projects and products.
We anticipate that the successful applicant for this exciting new position for an experienced Graphic Designer will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
*someone with a flair for creating professional and creative material for products/projects using the Adobe suite of products.
*have skills in both digital and print design, with a good understanding of web technologies.
*be educated to degree level or equivalent commercial experience in Graphic Design with proven ability and experience.
*have a portfolio demonstrating high levels of creative/technical ability and attention to detail.
*have the capacity to work quickly to deadlines and handle multiple projects concurrently.
Technically, we feel that the successful applicant will have experience with the following:
*Adobe Creative Suite to a high level.
*Photoshop
*Illustrator
*Indesign
*Dreamweaver
*Flash
*HTML and CSS (ideally CSS3) for web and email template design.
*drawing skills.
*strong literacy skills for contributing to marketing copy.
*Project Management skills.
