An established Professional Services organisation has a fantastic opportunity for a Training & Development Manager.
You will be a qualified lawyer who either has experience or an interest the content and delivery of training
The Role
Quality assurance of all training and assessment programmes
Approximately 50 days of training/assessment per annum
Line management of employed trainers
Managing relations with external trainers and assessors
Managing development spend and activity for existing programmes
Contributing to new product development activities
Programme Director and Assessment Board responsibilities to be agreed
Liaising with other managers and staff over various day to day operational matters.
Contributing to tender documentation and pitches as required
Liaising with regulatory bodies as required
The individual
Qualified Lawyer
Previous training experience, or a proven interest in this field
Previous experience of course design and/or product, or other, development activities
Commercially-minded with some financial literacy and an ability to manage a small budget
Previous people management experience
Self-starter and strong team-player, with good project management skills
Knowledge of the legal education marketplace
Excellent research skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A negotiable salary of up to £40,000 is offered for this rare and exciting permanent opportunity along with great benefits and a progressive working environment
