Multi-Skilled Engineer
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi–skilled engineer to work in this large manufacturing company.
The role is a hands on position and you will be required to plan develop and implement machine modifications, carry out repairs to plant and machinery, and monitor the production equipment and complete agreed maintenance scheduled workloads. You must be able to change over and set up machinery when product changes are required ensuring that downtime is reduced and efficiencies are increased.
To be considered for the multi-skilled engineering role, we are looking for candidates who have proven experience within a production environment along with engineering knowledge of Siemens PLC systems, Servo Drives, Process Control equipment, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Educated to a minimum City and Guilds in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline, a HNC/HND Electrical qualification, would be an advantage. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate hands on experience within a major production environment. This multi-skilled engineering role is pivotal to the business as such the ideal candidate must be an effective team member and flexibility is essential.
Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, the wage for this role multi-skilled engineers role is £25700. The role also involves being ‘on call’ for two days a month (on a rota basis).
