An opportunity has arisen for a Data Entry/Systems Support Clerk within an Electronic Manufacturers based in Cardiff. This position is for 8-10 weeks (possibly ongoing) with a pay rate of 7.50 per hour. Working days are Monday - Friday 4 hours per day with flexible working hours.

Role Objectives

To be responsible for data management and governance needs, providing policing of the systems to ensure clean useable data for all departments. The successful candidate will also be expected to champion full and efficient use of data to increase Sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work with colleagues and suppliers to ensure they utilise the data available in the most efficient manner.

2. Utilise the data quality tools to remove duplication of contacts and accounts.

3. Create and implement processes and procedure for data management.

4. Liaise with accounts and marketing to ensure correct account ownership and lead allocation.

5. Data input such as:

Sales targets

Update price list

Create new models

Update/maintain accounts (duns, targets account etc)

Re-allocation of accounts and opportunities

Update PDQ's

General data governance (missing data)

6. Create and implement processes and procedures for access control and date management.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

Knowledge of data sources and transformation rules.

Excellent data accuracy and attention to detail.

Must possess a positive, enthusiastic and assertive attitude.

Must be able to effectively communicate technical often complex data in user friendly language.

Must be able to commit to and achieve high standards.

Most possess strong problem solving ability.

Ability to work on own initiative is essential.

Must possess the ability to build strong professional relationships.

Must be highly diligent and tenacious.

A willingness to develop and undertake training activity when required is essential.

Strong team working and multi-tasking skills as essential.
