Security Officer - Security Guard
Essential:
- SIA licence
- Relevant previous experience
Preferable:
- Full, clean driving licence
An established, UK-wide Facilities Management company based in Cardiff are currently looking for several reliable and flexible Security Officers with a proactive approach to work at a number of busy sites. This position is fundamental in providing much needed business support and year round relief for our already established security department.
Working at a variety of sites including leisure complexes and shopping centres, day to day duties include, but are not exclusive to: first line of response to security related incidents, monitoring car parks, attending fire-evacuation procedures, patrolling, CCTV monitoring, checking ID's and dealing with general enquiries from members of the public.
Due to the customer/ client/ public facing nature of this role, all applicants must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, along with a good level of oral and written English.
The hours of work and shift pattern will be varied. Therefore all applicants must be flexible and be able to work days, evenings, nights and weekends.
