Main Responsibilities
We are currently recruiting for various staff to work in our bistro and coffee house in the Gower.
We have a very happy, friendly team that work together; all staff are equal and help one another no matter what position they are in. Training will be given in all aspects of working in the food and service industry.
Positions include:
Cook
With previous experience and ability to lead the kitchen team. You will complete the daily HASSAP sheets and any one taking this position should be totally committed and reliable. Hours available are from 9am to 9pm and can be part, full time or just weekends. You will be approximately working from June/July to the end October.
Kitchen Hands
You will prep up food, help with basic cooking, cleaning work stations, check refrigeration temps and help with daily ordering. You must be able to work as part of a strong team and use initiative as well as follow instructions. Hours available are 9am till end.
Waitress/Waiters
You will be required to deliver food to the Bistro, clear tables and in the evening take orders, carry out orders given by kitchen staff and clean the stations at the end of the shifts. Most important however is the ability to converse with customers, being pleasant and able to put customer service first.
Front of House
You will be required to serve drinks, take food orders, handle money, take bookings for the evening Bistro, re-stock and clean stations at end of shift. You will work using a 4 bay coffee machine, training on which will be given. This will appeal to anyone who likes working with the public. An additional language is an advantage but not essential. You will be of a presentable appearance, polite, able to converse at all levels with customers.
Pot Washer
No experience required but you must be totally reliable.
Shift Information
Approximately from June/July to end October - We expect anyone who joins us to be totally committed for the season.
We would like to start training staff as soon as possible however successful candidates may not be required until the summer.
